A blessing in disguise
Sunday, October 24, 2010
Yesterday night was one of the worst night I ever had in my life. Started having migraine in the late afternoon which lasted through the entire night. I did not take the migraine seriously initially as I never had the problem of serious migraine that last more than an hour or two. However, this time round I'm wrong. The migraine worsened as hours went by. Tried sleeping by 8pm yesterday but the pain was so great that I could only drift on and off to sleep. Mum offered some panadeine which I refused as I do not want to rely on any form of analgesia. Hence the stubborn me ended up waking up in the middle of the night crying due to the intense pain. Finally managed to drift off to sleep after that as the pain became more tolerable. And so, I ended up staying at home today and sleeping most of the time since the migraine hasn't go away. Sigh.

The rain begins to fall, harder and harder, and I heard it through my closed windows, shielding me from the torrent as I woke up from my sleep. The muffled sound of the rain rendered a sense of serenity. Sitting alone watching the endless falling raindrops, away from the crowd, the incessant chatter was a peaceful moment to enjoy.

So was it a blessing in disguise? :)
