Woke up to the constant naggings of the mother cus the workers are coming to the house soon for renovation. The start of a long dusty cum sneezing day :( Did I mention that I had allergic rhinitis and cannot stop sneezing when there's too much dust around? Fortunately I have been religiously using my nasal spray every morning. If not I'll be dead by now with all the damn drillings and dust around me. The only good news out of the on going renovation is that the brother's room is the only place that is not affected and I can seek shelter in his sty. HAHAHA..This only concludes that sometimes its good that the brother is in school most of the time. :D So I'm actually enjoying myself in the air-con room, watching online dramas and listening to my favourite songs :) A slack housekeeper ain't I? :D
I always enjoyed reading straits times online instead of reading through the the newspapers which makes your hands smell like you have just washed them with BLACK grease. No offense to newspaper readers out there ok? Reading news online is so much easier. You don't have to walk all the way to the newspaper stand to buy the newspaper cus all you need is a functioning com with internet access. :D
I do agree that appearance is insufficient to judge one's substance. I can still remember this professor of mine who taught me entrepreneur marketing in nus. He never fails to wear a short sleeve typical uncle like shirt and carries those kind of NTUC grocery shopping bag on his shoulder when he comes for lectures. He drinks from a plastic mineral water bottle and takes the same bus home just like majority of the students in the campus. If you sees him along the street, he may look just like an ordinary uncle to you. However you will be surprised that he is actually a very smart and successful entrepreneur. I have always enjoyed his lectures cus he never failed to make lessons so interesting esp when the lecture starts in deadly hours like 5/6pm. NUS definitely needs more lecturers like him.
