Finally completed my 2nd day of night shift..felt sooooo tired especially in the middle of the night..like what my preceptor has described me..I'm more like floating in the ward rather than walking..haha..Felt really tired especially during the "sleepy phase" in the middle of the night but after that phase I became hyper and floats around especially during the period from 5am till I finish passing my reports..This morning as I came out of the staff room, I was in a hyper cum floating mood and thus I wasn't walking straightly sooo I bang straight into the huge metal food trolley and choked on the milk tea that I am drinking..so malu sia especially when people start turning around to see what was happening...hai..-.-"..Hope my third night tonight will not be as malu as today..:)

I guess I really need to brush up on many nursing skills..especially drawing out medications using a synringe..During my first night, I was preparing to give an intravenous antibiotic and I am supposed to syringe out the medication after reconstituting it..as I was syringing out the medication from the glass bottle which was supposed to be in 20mls, I did not realised that I had reached the limit of the syringe and I happily continue to pull the end of the syringe until it pop out from the syringe and all the antibiotic medication splashed onto my uniform..hai..felt so embarassed to even look at my preceptor..malu malu.... -.-"

I guess night shifts can be quite intersting as although sometimes night shifts can be peaceful..sometimes it can be quite happening..looking forward to my sleeping day and rest day next week..Got to really catch up on my sleep..if not more winkles are popping out le..hai...
