I guess its finally the time to review my thoughts on this year which is gonna gone by in less than 24hrs time.

The year 2006 had been a year of ups and downs for me. I've been through a lot, learnt a lot, gained some and lost some. This year has indeed been a eventful year for me which brought me life experiences that helps me to grow. Memories of the wonderful moments of the year will always be kept in my mind.

The first thing that took place in my life this year was my working experience in citibank. It was truely a long period of time which makes me grew up more and learning to see things in a different perspective..Really glad to know many friends there such as shiqi, baoling, emily, zijian, the AO team and some of the bankers..haha thanks for all of ur help and guidance..=) I really enjoyed working in citibank though there may be ups and downs..This working life has exposed me to life of working in a business world which was indeed a good experience and was different from working in the hospital.

I've learnt to be stronger through working and to try walking out of the comfort zone though I'm still not fully capable of doing so all by myself right now..But I'll try..=)

Also I would like to say a big thank you to one of my best friend shu juan..we have known each other since sec sch and were always been known as the chopstick sisters..haha..I really treasured the times we have gone through from 'O' levels to 'A', to working in citibank and now in university.. =)

Another thing which I'm really glad was to make it into the uni and the course that i want..=) Uni life has been tiring but definitely interesting..Really glad to found my clique of friends liping, kelly and kewei.. I can't imagine what uni life would be without them..=) The times where we mugged hard in the medical library, playing around in the skills lab and many more.. Really hope that we will continue our friendship this way throughout our lives..I'm sure there are much more good times waiting for us to unfold in the coming year..=) Also not to forget my coursemates..though have not been very close to everyone of them, they are generally quite interesting and fun loving people.=D Not to forget my PBL groupmates who really made the lessons interesting.

Clinicals has been one of the most meaningful event in my life..Not only that I've learnt a lot medically but also the importance and meaning of human touch and perserving life.. It makes me realise that life is fragile and cherish it even more..The patient's and their family taught me what is kinship in greater depth..Resuscitation and seeing people dying thought me to see death in a lighter way..I remembered during my clinicals, someone told me before, when there's birth, there will be death, it's a natural human life cycle, thus why not see life and death in an easier way like this? True indeed..Prehaps all of us have been holding on too tightly onto somethings which are meant to be let go eventually. Really thank the nurses, doctors and the patients in my ward for the help and guidances. I truely enjoyed this clinical. =)

I hope that this coming year will be a smooth sailing year for me, my family, friends and bascially everyone. I will work harder in this coming year and hope that all my wishes will come true.=) I hope my family and friends will be healthy and happy. =) Seeing your loved ones happy definitely makes one a happy person too.=D

As I looked back this year, I really wonder how I somehow survived..=) Hope that 2007 will be an even better year for everyone while the good memroies of 2006 shall not be forgotten. =) Happy New Year to all. =)
