Another day in the ward

Went for my clinicals yesterday as usual. Its really a great experience to spend my day in the ward as its the time where I can really learn a lot of things through experiencing and participating. Came across a patient with bilateral conjunctival edema and was a little frightened when I first saw his eyes frankly speaking. However after getting to know him better, I realised that he was actually quite a nice patient. Some of my friends got to witness the extracion of bone marrow which was definitely an insightful experience for them. How I wish i'm there at that time too. Probably will not be able to see such case cos the ward i'm working in is under cardiovascular and respiratory medicine while they are in general medicine thus usually such cases will not be seen in my ward..=( Nevertheless, got to see and learn abt many other treatments for cvs and respi patients which i've never heard abt. =) Look forward tothis cuming friday where we will be going to various places learning about the different types of diagnostic test and treatments. Most importantly, I will be able to achieve another objective after that...XD Schoolwork is getting heavier with all those projects, exams and CAs filling up my life..Really look forward to the time when I can really put aside these yucky stuff and enjoy myself =( Wish me luck world...
